I wanted to put day 2 and 3 together since things were much calmer and low key. Our second day in Seattle started off down at Pike Place Market. We got there pretty early in the morning so many of the vendors weren’t open yet but the area was crowded with quite a few people. The clouds has finally cleared out so it was the perfect day to enjoy walk around.
Stopping by the gum wall was on our(my) list of things to see.
Next we walked down to the harbor to see the Seattle Aquarium and took the Argosy Harbor Cruise. After the cruise we stopped by the Crab Pot for a late lunch and some more shopping.
Our last day had a slow start, we slept in late , ordered room service for breakfast, and slowly started to pack our bags. After checking out of our hotel around noon we made our way to the Chihuly Garden and Glass Gallery which was down near the Space Needle. It was absolutely beautiful and a must visit location in Seattle.
We stopped by Din Tai Fung for lunch, which was highly recommend from quite a few friends, and I would recommend it as well. The wait was long but the food was worth it. After that we headed back to the airport and we were on our way back home to Alaska. While it was a very quick trip we had an amazing time. Hopefully our next visit will be longer. If anyone has any suggestions on must see places in Seattle please let me know.
